A collection of favourites from this year’s Wall of Scathing Reviews at the Venice Film Festival which took place between September 2 - 12.
This year I noticed more complaints about the increase in price and festival experience. Hope Alberto Barbera took notes.
The winning scathing review is about The Echo Chamber, directed by Andrea Pallaoro and starring Luca Marinelli, Alicia Vikander, Susan Sarandon, based on after Bernardo Bertolucci’s last screenplay and a project he never got to complete before his death.
