The Culturist Film Club is an offshoot of the blog, initially as an online film club between April-June 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown and in 2022 launched as an in-person event. Screenings have been hosted at various cultural venues across Dubai including Alliance Francaise, Jameel Arts Centre and Kutubna Cultural Center. They include an introduction by me, followed by discussions with the audience, and occasionally with an invited guest speaker.
