Dubai Walks - Garhoud Bridge

Dubai is not known as a walking city. You might be able to walk within certain neighbourhoods, but it’s difficult to walk from one part of the city to another because of the lack of walking pathways.

I live close to two of the three bridges in Dubai, Garhoud Bridge and Business Bay Crossing and during one of my drives, I noticed people walking or jogging along those bridges, which made me realise there must be a walking path on those bridges.

The scorching summer heat doesn’t make it easy to even go for short walks, but two days ago, when the hot temperature dropped down a bit in the evening, I decided to go for a walk on Garhoud Bridge. I first drove towards one end of Garhoud Bridge and was able to park my car and from there followed a path that lead to the bridge. It was my first time walking across the bridge and it was nice to see a different perspective of Dubai.
