Moderating at Bayt Al mamzar - Indie Shorts from the UAE
I will be moderating a talk with six filmmakers on Sunday, June 14 at Bayt Al Mamzar in Dubai.
Before the talk, there will be a screening of short films made by each director. The event is organised by Abdulrahman Al Madani, one of the filmmakers in the line up.
So many independent filmmakers in the country don’t have venues to show their films because the existing venues and institutions don’t show any interest, and it’s individual efforts like this where we get a chance to see films from the UAE.
The event is free to attend and you can register here.
