This month has been a one filled with lots of film discoveries. Highlights include provocative films from Portugal by João Pedro Rodrigues (To Die Like a Man and Two Drifters), experimental films by Luis López Carrasco (The Future) and Isiah Medina (88:88), Beyonce's "visual album" Lemonade, films by John Cassavetes and a comedy gem more people should see, Tony Richardson's The Loved One. Lowlights include Queen of the Desert and High Rise.
