Performing Arts 101: Classical Arabic Music
Sharjah Art Foundation is hosting Performing Arts 101: Classical Arabic Music on Saturday, 21st December at 5.30pm, part of a series that explores the various forms of performing arts.
Performing Arts 101is a series of events organised for art enthusiasts who wish to explore and engage with various forms of the performing arts. Through special events, dynamic performances and discussion, audiences can enhance their knowledge of different musical genres including Classical, Jazz and Opera.
The event will be presented by Drs. John Perkins and Imed Nsiri from the American University of Sharjah (AUS). They will present historical composers, musicians and singers of classical Arabic music from the 18th-20th centuries.
