Made a new zine: Great Night Life
I made a new zine called Great Night Life. It features extracted images and texts from advertisements for hotels, discos, bars and restaurants in the United Arab Emirates from What’s On magazine, a Dubai based entertainment and lifestyle magazine, from issues published between 1979–1986.
It’s an extension of my piece, Good Life, a collection of 105 reprinted advertisements from What’s On that is currently included in the group exhibition titled Guest Relations at Jameel Arts Centre.
The zine consists of 36 pages and comes in two different covers. It is currently stocked in Dubai at Art Jameel Shop and Hobb, where you will also find zines by my brother Khalid Mezaina.
