YouTube turns 5
YouTube turned 5 years old last month and it's amazing to think it's only been 5 years since its launch - feels like a lifetime in the online world. I just saw this five year tribute video and the YouTube Five Year Channel where people around the world are sharing their YouTube story. Here are a couple of I liked.
No doubt YouTube has revolutionised what we see and share online. There's some amazing videos and stories shared daily, yet, I don't get to see enough from this part of the world. At least not enough that interests me. So I hope for the 10th year celebration, there will be more quality content uploaded on the site from this part of the world that can generate laughter, compassion and respect.
