In South America by Clemens Krüger, Vincent Urban, Stefan Templer
In South America is a beautifully shot film by Clemens Krüger, Vincent Urbanand Stefan Templer, and masterfully edited by Vincent Urban. It features their recent trip to South America, which looks like it was quite a trip.
Early 2012, we started a journey to Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay and Southern Brazil in our old and rusty Landrover. Once again, we brought our DSLR cameras and some gear to capture every great moment of this trip. Lots of winds, emptiness, pampas, bustling cities, animals, deserts and waterfalls - all wrapped up in just under 6 min. Enjoy the ride!
Watching it moved me to tears. Perhaps the music (3055 by Ólafur Arnalds) accompanying this video is partly to blame. It's so moving and the scenes are so beautiful, I couldn't help feeling emotional.
With so many horrible stories in the news lately (and on a personal level, I've been feeling emotionally and mentally trapped, and very uninspired), watching this video reminded me there's so much out there to see. The world is a wonderful place, it's the people who make it less wonderful. At least some people.
I want to go on an adventure trip like this. I usually enjoy travelling alone when I visit cities, but I know I won't be able to go on a trip like this on my own. I need to find my travelling soul mate.
Anyway, enough about me. Enjoy watching this beautiful grand adventure and hope it moves you as it moved me.
