Sense of Sight - Photography exhibition at DUCTAC on 3rd Feb

I will be taking part in a group exhibition - Sense of Sight - that opens next week organised by DUCTAC and Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai.

The objective of this project is to highlight the importance of eyesight and vision and the need for regular eye screening through the portrayal of visual disturbance either psychological or in the form of visual impairment.

Other artists taking part in this exhibition include:
Altamash Urooj; Jalal Abuthina; Kahlil de Pio; Kamil Roxas; Karen Dias; Omar Ibrahim; Zarina Fernandes

The photographs will be judged by a panel of experts, who will award one of the photographers a prize of AED 10,000 by Moorfields in a gesture to support emerging talent in our community.

Hope to see you at the opening.

Thank you Hind for writing about DUCTAC's event. As a board member, it pleases me to see it being promoted in all forums. This particular exhibition was incredibly interesting, as it opened up a whole new subject to me that I was not aware off. I got to learn about the Charles Bonnet Syndrome, for example, that is a hallucination which is related to visual loss.
I look forward to seeing more DUCTAC events on your blog in the future.
