Foo Dog is a Dubai based creative movement that focuses on creating urban art and fusions of culture that can be related to and appreciated by all. They believe in uniqueness and urbanity and their creations are focused on limited edition designs so that art lovers and enthusiasts can own rare and unique art and apparel.
They are organising an exhibition called Project: MEGA - the largest designer toy exhibition in the Middle East. It includes 100 UAE based artists customising 100 MEGAs (8 inches tall custom toys in white vinyl).
The opening night is on 26th May at the Gate Village in DIFC and will include musical performance by The Recipe and Clarita de Quiroz. The event free and open to the public.
I am really looking forward to this, my brother and several friends are taking part and curious how each MEGA will be interpreted by the artists. For a change, I am looking forward to an event in Dubai that has the word 'largest' in its description.
