Film Screening - One Day on Earth

To celebrate Earth Day on 22nd April, Community Cinema will be screening One Day on Earth, part of a global worldwide screening on the same day.

The screening will take place in Dubai at the Meydan IMAX Theatre at 8pm. It's free entry, but you have to RSVP on the Facebook invite page.

People in every country were asked to document the world around them and created over 3,000 hours of footage. This collaborative film, the first ever of its kind, creates a picture of humanity recording 24 hours across the globe and explores the greatest ever diversity of perspectives on screen.

The film follows characters and events throughout a day, interspersed with the progression of life - from birth, to death, to birth again. Despite challenges and tragedies across the planet, we are reminded that every day we are alive, there is hope and a choice to see a better future together.
