I am intrigued by this band from Cape Town. I've been listening to their music for the past few days and reading what I can about them.

I am not very familiar with Cape Town street/gang culture, so I'm not entirely sure if the members of Die Antwoord are a bunch of ghetto freaks or ghetto freaks wannabes.

Neill Blomkamp at TEDx Vancouver

I loved District 9 and Neill Blomkamp, so I am delighted to find this talk he made at TEDx Vancouver last November.

Robin Hemmings and Oliver Millingham (c) Charlie Field

One Small Step, a play that was a huge hit at the 2008 and 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, is coming to DUCTAC (Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre) next week.

It tells the story of one of the most exciting adventures of the 20th century - the space race. The two extraordinary actors, Robin Hemmings and Oliver Millingham will take us on this journey to the moon and back by bringing to life about 41 characters in a brilliantly inventive portrayal of the space race using household objects like buckets, lamps and cardboard boxes in fabulously inventive ways.
